WORKTRACE – duck black jacket
解体されたダックパンツ数本。
擦れ、汚れ、褪せ――
労働の痕跡をそのまま抱えながら、
1着のジャケットへと再構築しました。
1900年代初頭のフランス、ダスターコートをベースに製作した型紙を使用。
あえて広がりきる前で切り落としたような、
“ショート寄りのミドル丈”が独自のフォルムを生んでいます。
仕上げには黒染めを施し、異素材のコントラストを抑えて統一感を演出。
その中にも、パーツごとの色ムラや縫製の粗さが残り、
“完全には均されない再構築”として、物語を留めています。
静かに主張する佇まいと、使い込まれた素材の時間が響きあう、
REMAKEBYKらしい一着です。

Several vintage duck canvas pants were disassembled—
bearing the traces of labor: frays, stains, and fading.
These remnants were quietly reconstructed into a single jacket.
The pattern is based on an early 1900s French duster coat,
but intentionally cropped before its full length could unfold—
resulting in a silhouette that lies between short and mid-length,
distinctive and off-balanced.
The entire piece was finished with black dye,
subduing the contrast of mixed fabrics to create cohesion.
Yet subtle irregularities—fading across parts, uneven stitching—remain,
preserving the sense of a reconstruction that resists being fully “smoothed out.”
A jacket where worn-in materials and quiet defiance echo in harmony—
unmistakably REMAKEBYK.
