70–90年代のUKタータンチェック。
かつて階級や帰属を示していた柄を、REMAKEBYKの解釈で現代の輪郭へ引き寄せています。
本来は正方形に近い形が多いタータンを、あえて細く、長く再構築しました。
ビンテージには存在しないプロポーションを、ビンテージ素材で成立させています。
表に重厚なタータン、裏に90年代のスウェットを使用。
異なる時代と背景を一枚の中で重ねることで、クラシックにもノスタルジーにも寄らない、静かな緊張感を生み出しています。
リバーシブルでの着用も可能です。
首元に自然なボリュームが生まれ、装いに一枚差すだけで、全体の空気を引き締めます。
コートの上から無造作に垂らしても、
ニットやカットソーにラフに巻いても成立します。
装いに奥行きと緊張感を与える一枚です。

Once a pattern that indicated class and belonging, reinterpreted by REMAKEBYK and drawn into a contemporary silhouette.
Traditionally, tartan pieces tend to have a near-square shape.
Here, it has been intentionally reconstructed into a long and narrow proportion.
A form that does not exist in vintage, realized through vintage materials.
The outer layer features a heavy tartan, while the reverse uses a 90s sweatshirt fabric.
By layering different eras and backgrounds into a single piece, it creates a quiet tension that avoids both classicism and nostalgia.
It can be worn on both sides.
A natural volume forms around the neck, subtly tightening the overall look when added to an outfit.
It works effortlessly when draped over a coat,
or loosely wrapped with knitwear or cut-and-sew pieces.
